MY NAME IS RACHEL CORRIE

My Name Is Rachel Corrie, starring Courtney Miller (from Home & Away) is a one- woman play based on the diaries and emails of Rachel Corrie, a young American aid worker with an intense passion for human rights, equality and justice for all. The play was created by Alan Rickman and Katharine Viner who collated Rachel’s writings into this thought-provoking and at times witty and humorous showcase of Rachel’s extraordinary young life.

In 2003, Rachel left her home and college in Olympia, Washington, to join the International Solidarity Movement in the Middle East, a group that was protesting the demolition of civilian homes in the Gaza strip. Unfortunately, Rachel never made it back home.
