
This year’s WOMADelaide festival kicked off in style with a strong first day. Approximately 400 artists have been engaged to perform during the four days of the festival. On show are some of the best musicians on the world music scene.

Leo Tolstoy’s last novella is a powerful tragedy that unpacks the gradual fall of those who fall prey to debauchery, posing deep philosophical questions about the purpose of life.

There is a rich abundance of amateur theatre in Adelaide, and there is an abundance of talent within it. This production is a fine example of both.




Perhaps Paige is not the same artist that many would recall from the early 1970s, but her matured voice and glamorous style are just as enjoyable. It was a rare but cherished opportunity for Adelaide audiences to witness an artist as iconic as Elaine Paige.
